Mikes gone and I'm sad

Well Mike left on his scout camp on monday morning around 9 am. They were actually gonna leave at 5 am but the boys didn't like that soo much so they changed it. So I've been trying to come up with ideas of things to do while he is gone, some things came to mind like cleaning, laundry, some more cleaning but I decided that I don't really want to do much while he's gone, I just want to have fun. He wont get back until saturday so it will be a long week. Monday I did my moms hair and then we went to one of the city pools with our friends the Newbolds, then we went to streets of newyork to eat dinner with them too because my friend Janas husband works there so we thought it would be nice not to have to cook or anything. Today a bunch of us moms from the ward took the kids to the morning movies that is every tuesday so that will be fun for the summer. I also had a doctor appt today, most of you don't know yet but as of right this second I am pregnant again. I'm trying to be positive this time and really enjoy every minute because you never know when those minutes are over. so anyways then Bailee and I just got into the pool for a little bit while Bryce was taking a nap and now its time to go to my daily trip to walmart and then over to my moms for dinner. Now I just have to find some more things to do this week to pass the time, let me know if you have any ideas.

Fathers and sons/ girls night out

This last friday was the father and sons campout. I think Mike was more excited to go than Bryce. He loves to camp and anyone who knows me, it is not my thing. So when he gets a chance to go camping he'll take it. But it sounded like they had a great time with everyone and got some cute pictures.

Bailee and I went to dinner and shopping for a new toy. Of all the places to pick to eat we ended up at taco bell! that has turned into Bailee's favorite place to eat. Then we invited my friend Misti and her daughter Grace to come over and play for a while. It was a great time to spend with eachother. Then saturday I had to work all day 8:30am to 5 pm it was a good day but tiring, but Mike and I got to go out on a hot date and that was what kept me going all day. We ended up at cheesecake factory and then to see the movie Ironman. It was such a nice time to spend with eachother, we don't date as often as we should. I love spending that time with my cutie pie!!

Becky's triathlon!!!

I thought I would post some pictures of my triathlon that I completed in April. I've just gotten the hang of this computer and picture thing so it has taken a while to post these pictures but I thought everyone would want to see what it looks like to accomplish a goal! These are two of my friends that also completed the race with me, the one in orange is my good friend Jana( she lives right across the street) I love her and the other girl is Kassandra and she is a friend from the ward. This was before the race started and the husbands were getting pictures of all the wive. we are some hot mamas!!

This was me getting nervous to start the swim(6oo meters) and the water was61 degrees!!! holy cow I cant believe I did it. yay!!!

This next one was me right after I had completed the swim, and that was the worst part of the whole thing. I dreaded that part because I'm not too good of a swimmer, so i was on cloud 9 when i saw the end of the swim. next is the bike!

The bike ride was supposed to be 12 miles but some people think it was a little shorter. But I say " who cares how long the ride was it was well worth the feeling at the end!!"

This was the BEST part of the whole race! to cross the finish line and do something that you never thought you would ever do in your life. I will probably do another one sometime in my life, but not any time soon!!

Krispy Kremes

So to some of you this might not be a big deal but to us we would not be able to sleep tonight if we did not get our Krispy Kremes!! so Mike waited probably at least45 min in line to get them. For those of you who don't know today was the grand opening of the one here in mesa. As you can see we have no problem finishing the box. Yummy !!!

Wedding chaos!!

So this last mother's day weekend we traveled up to St george, Utah to see a cousin of Mikes get married(for the 3rd time)Gramma and grampa Porter came with us. The trip itself was so much fun, the kids loved the motel more than anything they kept saying over and over again "please can we go back to the motel?" they are crazy! Any way we did alot of sitting and then we did a little more sitting. The bride was 2.5 hours late to her own wedding, crazy huh? Then she was 45 mins late to the reception, all in all the trip was fun and we got to spend mother's day with Sheila and that was special.
