pregnancy so far...
This pregnancy has gone great as far as pregnancy goes. My anxiety is starting to slow down a bit since I can feel the sweet baby moving now. I absolutely LOVE that feeling. I had a little bit of spotting in the beginning but nothing to worry about since so we are chugging along. I had an ultrasound last week and we were able to see that it was a GIRl!! we are soo excited and Bailee couldn't be happier to know she will finally get her little sister. I am soo excited for bows and dresses and little tights and little shiny shoes. Jeans and t shirts do get old after a while...haha but we will be able to dress this little girl of ours so cute, I cant wait. Here is a picture of me at 18.5 weeks preggo, I'm definatley getting bigger, I love pregnant bellies.
New playground
I finally convinced Mike that we needed a playground for our backyard. So now that the weather is nice we went and bought one. The kids love it and play outside all the time now which is pretty nice. Mike said if we ever buy another house than we better find one that already has a playground because he doesnt want to have to put another one together. Here are some pics of him, my dad and Paul helping put it together.
Lincoln turns 1
I cant believe my baby is one. i really don't know where all the time went this past year. It's definately hard with 3 kids but I can finally say I'm getting used to it now. Good thing because pretty soon I will add another sweet baby and things will get crazier. Lincoln has been such a sweet blessing in our lives. After all the heart break and loss that we went through he makes it all seem better somehow. I still wonder what those babies would have been like and what they would look like but I am soo greatful for the sweet family I get to enjoy here on earth.
Lincoln says a few words that are so cute. He says "puppy" when he sees ANY animal, its so cute. He says "outside" all the time and the minute the back door opens and the kids go out he comes out of know where to go outside with them. He says "mommy and daddy" and recently I taught him how to say "please" he doesnt actually say it like we do but I was getting really tired of him screaming everytime we had food so I taught him in a nice voice to say please and now he doesnt hardly scream anymore and actually uses a really soft voice and says please until he gets some food. Every day I enjoy this boy more and more and feel so lucky that we were blessed to have him in our family.

disneyland
The kids had so much fun at disneyland this year. Bryce was just barely tall enough for the rides but to my surprise he was pretty hesitant to ride any of them. He did ride them but everytime we got off he would say " I dont really like that one, I dont want to go on it again" but Bailee is jsut the opposite and loves all of them and wanted to ride them over and over again. Anyone that know her, knows shes not too much of a risk taker but she definately loves disneyland(minus the characters).
We did get stranded once while we were in california and it was horrible. The weather was 100 degrees and our car broke down on the freeway the day after we got there so we pulled off the exit and poor Mike had to push the suburban a good 1/4 mile to park it. we eventually got it towed to pepboys and 800 dollars later and 4 hrs we were back to driving in crazy california. It definately wasnt the best day because we did a lot of walking and pushing bryce and bailee in one single stroller which can get pretty heavy. All in all it was a very fun, productive, relaxing trip.
We had soo much fun on our California trip last weekend. It was actually really nice not to have Lincoln to feed and change and naps. I missed him sooo much though it was killing me inside. Luckily when my mom had him she would send me pics of him on my phone and that definatley was so nice to get to see.
This is on the Pier at newport! It was soo pretty.
we got to ride the farris wheel at newport. The kids loved it. It was just a little teaser to what was to come for disneyland the next day.

Bailees cast

Well... as most of you know now bailee didnt actually break her foot. I took her to the doctor and the exray tech said it was broken so the next day I took her to the orthopedic guy and they looked at the exrays and said they couldnt see anything. In the mean time Bailee couldnt walk on her foot and she was agonizing in pain(especially since Im this best mom in the world to make her walk on it the 24 hours previously)so the doctor said they would cast it no matter what so they did and she was not a happy camper for a while.
The crutches were definately one of the hardest things to force your child to use. I can get her to eat veggies and I can pick out clothes or make her do her homework but to actually force someone to use crutches is pretty impossible! It was a pretty fun week to say the least. About half way through the week she was able to move her toes and could touch her foot inside the cast without pain so the friday of our california trip we took her to get it off. She was totally fine and could walk across the room so the doctor felt fine with that and we had a blast in California.
